分散控制系统是以微处理器为基础，采用控制功能分散、显示操作集中、兼顾分而自治和综合协调的设计原则的新一代仪表控制系统。集散控制系统简称DCS，也可直译为“分散控制系统”或“分布式计算机控制系统”。 它采用控制分散、操作和管理集中的基本设计思想，采用多层分级、合作自治的结构形式。其主要特征是它的集中管理和分散控制。DCS在电力、冶金、石化等各行各业都获得了极其广泛的应用。

DCS通常采用分级递阶结构，每一级由若干子系统组成，每一个子系统实现若干特定的有限目标，形成金字塔结构。

可靠性是DCS发展的生命，要保证DCS的高可靠性主要有三种措施：一是广泛应用高可靠性的硬件设备和生产工艺；二是广泛采用冗余技术；三是在软件设计上广泛实现系统的容错技术、故障自诊断和自动处理技术等。当今大多数集散控制系统的MTBF可达几万甚至几十万小时。

在DCS关联领域有许多新进展，主要表现在如下一些方面。

(1)系统功能向开放式方向发展。传统DCS的结构是封闭式的，不同制造商的DCS之间难以兼容。而开放式的DCS将可以赋予用户更大的系统集成自主权，用户可根据实际需要选择不同厂商的设备连同软件资源连入控制系统，达到最佳的系统集成。这里不仅包括DCS与DCS的集成，更包括DCS与PLC、FCS及各种控制设备和软件资源的广义集成。

(2)仪表技术向数字化、智能化、网络化方向发展。工业控制设备的智能化、网络化发展，可以促使过程控制的功能进一步分散下移，实现真正意义上的“全数字”、“全分散”控制。另外，由于这些智能仪表具有的精度高、重复性好、可靠性高，并具备双向通信和自诊断功能等特点，致使系统的安装、使用和维护工作更为方便。

(3)工控软件正向先进控制方向发展。广泛应用各种先进控制与优化技术是挖掘并提升DCS综合性能最有效、最直接、也是最具价值的发展方向，主要包括先进控制、过程优化、信息集成、系统集成等软件的开发和产业化应用。在未来，工业控制软件也将继续向标准化、网络化、智能化和开放性发展方向。

(4)系统架构向FCS方向发展。单纯从技术而言，现阶段现场总线集成于DCS可以有三种方式：① 现场总线于DCS系统I/O总线上的集成――通过一个现场总线接口卡挂在DCS的I/O总线上，使得在DCS控制器所看到的现场总线来的信息就如同来自一个传统的DCS设备卡一样。例如Fisher-Rosemount公司推出的DeltaV系统采用的就是此种集成方案。② 现场总线于DCS系统网络层的集成――就是在DCS更高一层网络上集成现场总线系统，这种集成方式不需要对DCS控制站进行改动，对原有系统影响较小。如Smar公司的302系列现场总线产品可以实现在DCS系统网络层集成其现场总线功能。③ 现场总线通过网关与DCS系统并行集成――现场总线和DCS还可以通过网关桥接实现并行集成。如SUPCON的现场总线系统，利用HART协议网桥连接系统操作站和现场仪表，从而实现现场总线设备管理系统操作站与HART协议现场仪表之间的通信功能。

一直以来DCS的重点在于控制，它以“分散”作为关键字。但现代发展更着重于全系统信息综合管理，今后“综合”又将成为其关键字，向实现控制体系、运行体系、计划体系、管理体系的综合自动化方向发展，实施从最底层的实时控制、优化控制上升到生产调度、经营管理，以至最高层的战略决策，形成一个具有柔性、高度自动化的管控一体化系统。

Adopting DEIF’s XL lighting indicator technology and outdoor scale design, BRW-2 and BW indicators provide bridge indicators with XL series lighting, which are designed to meet the unique regulatory and integration challenges of bridge flanks.

Like XL series lighting indicators, DEIF’s lighting bridge wing indicators also adopt DEIF’s patented, microprocessor-controlled X-Coil technology, which allows 360-degree rotation, 0.5-degree accuracy and 50g impact resistance, and has rich maritime certification. BRW-2 and BW series support CAN and various analog signals and dimming inputs, which speeds up installation and simplifies integration.

BRW-2 is a wall-mounted bridge wing indicator with front physical dimmer as standard, which is very suitable for meeting the requirements of bridge wing indicator, such as the requirements detailed in the OP notice of Panama Canal N-1.

BW is a flexible bridge wing indicator, hanging or standing on the pivot foot. There are two sizes available for indoor and outdoor installation, and the rear physical dimmer is standard.

DEIF’s standard scale series is designed to meet international standards, such as speed, pitch, rudder angle, rotation rate, azimuth angle, etc. In order to meet the needs of specific applications or brands, or to promote coordinated design, DEIF provides a cost-effective and fast customized scale design service. By using the pre-approval of DEIF, the cost and risk of system approval can be reduced and alleviated. The medical system includes BW and BRW new agreement indicators and other products of DEIF bridge combination, such as extra-large and phenylene diisocyanate.

We recommend that the instruments installed outdoors use white scale to prolong the life of the indicator.
